1) I have three main characters in my film and these are Iona, Edd, and Brook they all are very different people in the sense of social groups fashion and morals. The character Edd is represented as a person who doesn’t care what people think of him and therefore doesn’t need to impress people by the way he dresses this is probably due to the fact of his reputation as a bit of a thief and a fighter means that no matter what Edd did or dressed like he would still be an intimidating figure to most people. Iona on the other hand who is Edds ex girlfriend is shown in this film as a fairly ordinary person. In the sense that she wears just ordinary clothes has an ordinary phone and acts no different to the average girl. But she does have a very influential family that is notorious for fighting. This makes her part of the same type of social group as Edd even though they personally don’t have very many similarities. Brook’s character is different to Edd and Iona mainly because of the way they dress and the social groups they associate with. For example Brook unlike Edd is very conscious of his image and what people think of him. I believe this reflects the youth of today very well as we are categorised into very specific stereotypical groups but really it is a very unfair and judgmental system because people are not as they actually seem from first glance and this is what I was hoping to achieve with this film to prove that even though Edd is in the wrong for his doing but that is due to his upbringing. There is a lot of close ups of Edds face which really show his emotion throughout the chase and that although he is supposed to a big hard man at the end of the day he is scared and he has emotions as well to prove that he is not what people think he is due to the way he dresses and acts.
